HEIS is a writer, rapper, poet and recording artist from Philly. Over the last 7 years, he has released 9 projects and well over a dozen visuals. His latest album is the seventh installment of the Helluva Year series, a staple in HEIS' discography.

Heis on his latest project:

"The theme of my last project HYv6 was “Ohhh, THIS is Fun” because I learned how to enjoy the moments more. Throughout 2023 and especially while conceptualizing/working on HYv7 I realized I had a little too much fun. I started playing and not reaching my full potential. I got lazy. Which lead to this year’s theme: “Stop Playing With Your Fate”. This album is about finding the balance. Can’t be all work and no play, but if you play too much it ain’t gon work. 

A testament to this epiphany is my Qomputer Quis podcast. I started it 10 months ago and I’ve been using that as another way to push myself. It’s been one of the best and most fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve met some impressive people, made a bunch of connections and I love doing it. But I sat on this idea for 7 months before I did anything.
